About

Founded in 1997, The Northeast Regional Forest Foundation is a non-profit education and conservation organization dedicated to promoting the wise-use of natural resources in a free-market economy.

Through education seminars, speaking engagements, field demonstrations and proper management, NRFF elevates awareness that private ownership of property is the cornerstone of environmental stewardship and that when this idea is encouraged both environmental and economic prosperity is served.

NRFF was established to coordinate public awareness efforts across industries and state boundaries, particularly in regard to free-market solutions to environmental and economic problems within this region of the country. To that end NRFF has established close working relationships with organizations and businesses throughout New England and the United States.

NRFF is committed to offering solutions to the myriad problems associated with finding the proper balance between a vibrant economy and a healthy ecology. We begin with the premise that sound science, economics and natural resource management reinforces the traditional ownership patterns of New England’s working landscape; ownership patterns that have served this region well for over two centuries.
